The Law of Licensing is now largely governed by the new 2003 Act which came into force on the 24th November 2005.
It is an extensive piece of legislation, which implements a single integrated scheme for licensing premises which are used for the supply of alcohol, providing regulated entertainment or providing late night refreshment.
